Returning proof and praising the letters of "my dear friend" Sara Coleridge, but disagreeing with her estimate of Wordsworth's later poems, offering to further comment on Knight's proof when he returns to Ireland, saying that an account of St. Giles should be found in Butler's Lives of the Saints but not being able to shed any light on the other passages of "The Excursion" Knight mentions, but advising him to inquire of his friend Prof. Dowden "A great Wordsworthian," and hoping Reeve with publish a review of Knight's edition of Wordsworth.
